Why Proofing Matters

  • Color Accuracy: Verify that printed colors match your brand guidelines (CMYK vs. Screen RGB).

  • Paper Texture: Feel the weight and finish of the paper to ensure it suits your project.

  • Layout Validation: Check typography legibility and binding structure in a physical format.

Our Proofing Methods

1. PDF Soft Proof (Standard & Free)

  • What it is: A high-resolution digital file sent via email.

  • Best for: Checking text, layout, bleed, and image resolution.

  • Cost: Free with every order.

  • Note: Colors on screen may differ slightly from the final print due to monitor calibration.

2. Digital Hard Proof (Epson Color Proof)

  • What it is: A physical printout produced on high-end Epson inkjet printers using GMG color management.
  • Best for: Checking color accuracy (90-95% match to offset) and layout.
  • Cost: Included in most orders upon request.

3. Digital Sample Book (FOGRA Standard)

  • What it is: A fully bound book printed on a digital press. It mimics the final product’s structure but uses digital toner instead of offset ink.

  • Best for: Checking binding, paper feel, and overall look before mass production.

  • Cost: Free (DHL shipping included) after deposit payment.

4. Offset Wet Proof (The "Gold Standard")

  • What it is: A few pages or a full book printed on the actual offset press using the final paper stock.
  • Best for: Projects with critical color requirements (e.g., art books, photography).
  • Cost: Paid service (expensive due to setup costs).

5. Blank Dummy (Structure Sample)

  • What it is: An unprinted book made with your chosen paper and binding.

  • Best for: Testing paper weight, thickness, and binding durability without focusing on design.

  • Cost: Free (you only cover shipping).

Free Sample Policy

Kore Create Inc is committed to your satisfaction. We offer two ways to get free samples:

  1. Stock Samples: Before you order, we can send 1-2 similar books from our past projects for quality reference. (Free sample, you pay ~$35 shipping).

  2. Custom Digital Sample: After you confirm the order and pay the deposit, we provide a free custom-printed digital sample shipped via DHL for your final approval before mass production.
